Montre and Karlin Brooks

Montre and Karlin Brooks

Karlin and Montré (Tré) both grew up in Memphis, TN. There they both attended White Station High School, graduating in 2011. Tré then attended Jackson State University where he studied accounting and Karlin attended Grambling State University where she studied kinesiology with a focus in sport management. They both graduated in the spring of 2015. That summer Tré enrolled into Reformed Theological Seminary’s Master of Divinity program, where he is now currently taking classes. Karlin and Tré married on August 8, 2015 and joined the RUF staff that fall. Tré served RUF as a student leader for two years during his undergraduate studies and is now excited to serve in the organization that served him during his time at JSU. Karlin although new to the Jackson area has become the assistant coach for the JSU Cheer Team and plans to use both of her roles on campus to the glory of God and the advancement of His gospel. Karlin and Tré, knowing the darkness and confusion that is associated with college life, have a desire to see the gospel of Jesus Christ go forth on the campus of JSU. They are devoted as a couple to faithfully teach the counsel of God so that both young men and women will come to know Jesus as their Savior and His will for their lives.

At RUF at JSU, Montre will be ministering to freshman guys while also organizing evangelism and missionary living. Karlin will continue to disciple freshman girls and will also be over small group coordination.
